In 2020 I set up my Patreon page, which has affectionately become known as The Paynes Grey Club (Paynes Grey being my favourite pencil).
In 2018 I decided to rediscover my creative practice, and although I enjoyed drawing in my sketchbook, it felt a lonely place to be. I loved sharing my work on social media, and the community I built on Instagram gave me support and encouragement to keep creating. When I set up this Patreon in 2020, that was the space that I wanted to create, a supportive community where you could share work, make new things, try stuff out, fail, and have fun in a safe space.
I love what we've created here. This isn't a Patreon where I teach you how to draw like me, but it's a space for you to learn to draw like you, with a few tips, challenges and ideas thrown in.
This contents page shows you everything which is currently on my Patreon page. This website is a navigation tool to help Paynes Grey Club members link quickly to all videos while logged into Patreon.
